Always weird and unexpected, like hearing Louis CK cry on Marc Maron's podcast. I might be completely wrong here but I really feel like I've heard a lot of vulnerable and intimate moments on podcasts which I'd never expect to hear on regular radio.

I listened to this as it happened also and I was tremendously moved. Adam is a tough guy but, shit, this was his friend. This is how human's react. I work in healthcare and if dementia is heartbreaking. And I only see elderly patients with the disease. I couldn't imagine how painful it would be to see someone young and vibrant, who was a friend, hit with something like that.
