  • Okay...let me get this straight:

J.J. hates Spider-Man because, and I quote, 'because he wears a mask and thinks he's above the law', but he openly embraces Mysterio (who wears a fish-bowl, which is a glass form of mask) and doesn't even work with the law.

    ...interesting logic there, J.J. -_-

  • @Perion Aww, c'mon! Those films were... uhm, okay they sucked. The second one wasn't that awful, though. I think Alfred Molina was an awesome pick for Doc Ock. The first movie wasn't too awful either except for completely screwing up the story line and practically replacing the character of Gwen Stacey with MJ. Still, overall, yeah those movies were pretty awful. Here's to hoping that the upcoming reboot will do the Web Head better justice. (#3 SUCKED!!!)

  • @DakkTribal lol This is true but if you have read any of the comics there is actually a lot more depth to JJ's hatred for the Wall Crawler that has a lot more to do with self-doubt and an inability to cope with his own failings in life. Really though each new incantation of Spidey seems to offer a different view on the JJ/Spidey relationship. What I find even funnier is that JJ has a lot of fatherly feelings towards Parker.

  • "You both look good in skin tight outfits" peter you devil

  • @GTOBRIEN1995

In the comics that would be mostly thought bubbles (though comic characters do soliloquize a lot) and perhaps captions. This show, while not perfect by any stretch, is actually a great adaptation of the Spider-Man comics at their best. It captures the spirit and storytelling style of its books much better than the 90s X-Men series did.

  • they dont have anything to do with this let them go, well, jameison you can keep but... lol i luv it

  • Man, this series, when the term "With great power comes great responsibly" actually meant something, until Sam Raimi single handedly ran it into the ground in the first smegging film.

  • @purplewonder66 also New York and endangerment

  • Spiderman's supposed to be a scrawny teenager :/
