The Long Island Sound batters the north shore of Long Island. A few houses on the east end of the North Fork in Hashamomuck Cove are the buffer to County Rd 48, a major road and carrier for the infrastructure to points east, including water and gas, with only 17 ft to go. The Cove was struck by a Nor'easter in December 2010 that took 2 houses and left only 17ft until the road breached. What happened since then? This is the trailer for the real story.
