Nuova Simonelli Oscar - Brewhead problem...

sometimes only steam comes out and it takes a while before any water comes out... help?

Somewhat... I adjusted the Sirai pressurestat and it stopped doing it but i think the temp is a bit on the low side. if you adjust it right, it should be fine

I had the same thing happen to my with my Oscar. I turned the PStat one full turn to the left (+) and I had the stuttering water/steam problem from the group like you had. I wound up turning it back to the right 1/2 turn and it seems good now. How is the steam on your Oscar? Mine seems a bit wet but I don't know if that's normal as I bought mine used and have only had it for a month. Do you get some wetness on your hand if you hold it in steam flow?

The steam arm works fine on my Oscar. I leave the steam flow on while the machine is warming up so it heats the water to the proper temperature, and then I leave it on for 20-30 minutes before pulling a shot

Adjust your pressure stat and clean the burnt coffee residue off your group.
