Meshika in Mexico (191)

At "El Barrio de la Cuereria", a historic neighbourhood of Acapulco, on Friday, 6th November, 2009 during the 3rd International Festival of Acapulco La Nao (5-8 November 2009). Here Meshika is playing with the children of the neighbourhood. In all 12 countries including Mexico participated in this festival. India participated for the first time. Geetanjali International Folk Tang, led by Ms. Geetanjali Sharma, is a folk dance troupe from Mathura in the state of Uttar Pradesh. Acapulco, whose full name is Acapulco de Juárez, is a resort city and a major sea port in the state of Guerrero on the Pacific coast of Mexico, 395 kms southwest from Mexico City. The name "Acapulco" comes from the Nahuatl language meaning a "place of big reeds".
