A look inside the Mellow Mushroom in Charlottesville VA. We are in our tenth year in this friendly college town and located on The Corner across from the University of Virginia Grounds. Ask any local for a restaurant with great pizza and a cool vibe and they will send you to Mellow! While we have outstanding gourmet pizzas and 40 beers on tap, we are more than that. We want to provide you with an experience filled with colorful art, eclectic music and food that comforts your soul.

I am from Edgewood, Maryland and I come down once a year at the end of July for a family reunion to Charlottesville, Virginia. This place makes the best pizza I have ever tasted! I have been to Chicago and New York and had what they claim to be the "best of the best" only to be disappointed every time. Four years after the first slice I ever had, I still come to this place and get a pizza and it only gets better and better each and every year! Keep up the great work!!!
