Playing MUGEN with my DS

EDIT: guys the flashcart im using is CycloDS Evolution, don't ask me about if this will work on flashcarts such as the R4, try the program yourself on R4 if you want to know

In this video I used a homebrew program which turns your DS into a wireless controller, after your PC and DS are successfully connected, you can play SNES game and MUGEN, Neogeo and MAME doesn't seems work well on my computer for some reason, so if you guys successfully played King of Fighter or any arcade games with this program, tell me how to do it.

@bigboi41992 actually it's very easy once you get the hang of it. the only bad thing about this is my character are always locked into the "Up" control

I really don't understand why it doesn't work for MAME? The DS can use keyboard keys for everything else I've tried, but not mame. This just doesn't make any sense.
