But...you know for the price of one Topre + Shipping, you could buy a Matias, Filco, Steelseries and a Das.

Nice video presentation, thank you Harvey. Am a RealForce/Topre owner too. Regarding your informing us that:"Topre are the type of keyboards used at airports and other areas where keyboard malfunction is unacceptable." I have to smile because ou and many others on the web have posted that same quote, and I ask all of you to name one airport in the United States where you have seen a Topre keyboard. Beware of succumbing to the product hype of the manufacturer {:>

what do you use to clean all the dirt out of your keyboard?

Colored s and d, huh. Zerg?

Nice KB there!
91U is more eye-appealing with yellow Keycabs on but the Japanese layout made me discounted it a bit.
for a short KB with English layout, this is da real shit!
This is totally random...but cute little doggie at the beginning. What was the breed?

@spiffyharvey hey may seem like a dumb question but why are realforce so expensive??
dereka60 1 year ago
@dereka60 Not a dumb question at all. The topre keys are special in that they're the longest lasting of any keyboard. In other words, they'll take more strokes on average before they break. They use a capacitive/rubber dome hybrid mechanism. Topre are the type of keyboards used at airports and other areas where keyboard malfunction is unacceptable. If you look at it this way, it's probably the last keyboard you'll ever NEED to buy. Do a search online you'll find a better explanation.

Hi... thanks for the video. Have you been able to come up with any conclusions regarding Topre vs. Cherry Blues, yet?

@rayray097 I'd definitely pick the Topre over the Cherry keys. I have the FILCO at work and the Realforce at home (I'm afraid of leaving a $260 keyboard at work). When I come home I enjoy the realforce much more. It just feels like a superior keyboard. Much more sturdy and pleasant to type on IMO.
