Peter O'Toole and Omar Sharif star in this multi-Oscar winning production based on the exploits of legendary British soldier T.E. Lawrence. Lawrence helps unite rival Arab tribes and then organizes them into a rebellion against the Turks during World War One. Definitely one of the greatest epic movies of all time. Alec Guiness, Jack Hawkins, Anthony Quinn, Jose Ferrer and Claude Rains also costar.

I watch this for alec guiness and peter o toole, not omar sharrif,
in my opinion, sean connery could have played the role that omar sharrif played as connery has got the middle eastern look, but my conclusion is that instead of sharrif, it should have been connery, it would earn him an oscar instead of sharif

There's a lot of info on the internet about the real T. E. Lawrence, at the T.E. Lawrence Society, T.E. Lawrence Studies, and Clio Visualizing History. Clio has a video and photos of the real guy, and a lot of discussion (from different viewpoints) of what he did.

So this guy is shown a hero even though he destroyed the whole arab world... if the arabs were all still one country, they would be the wealthiest, strongest and biggest country in the world by far. anyone to argue against that is an idiot knowing that I am only stating facts, sorry if my spelling is bad :) and like if you agree
