About perspective, you can sometimes do things about small things, when you cannot affect the large things. You might argue the man should have went home and caused a rebellion, but it takes but a forth minute to handle the fly situation. The answer of course is one of practicality.

As for homosexuals, you do not have to accept it, or be comfortable with it. However, it is not acceptable to legally discriminate these people, anymore than someone of another faith.
