Don't Think Twice

I learned "Don't Think Twice, It's All Right" from a Ramblin' Jack Elliott LP that was loaned to me. For whatever reason I didn't hear Dylan's version until years later. Elliott changed a few words and didn't play harmonica and so my cover is closer to his. Dylan wrote this song based on a melody and a few lines by folk singer Paul Clayton. There's so many great Dylan songs but this is a personal favorite of mine. Thanks Bob. - FK

i really love your performance of this song, but just personal preference, i really liked when you would throw in a couple quick strums of the C chord at the end of a couple of the verses in your older version. this is still phenomenal; it sounds to me like the "album" version, whereas the older video sounded just slightly improvised, like a "live" version. well, as improvised as your infallible finger picking can get anyway.

@Plutoniumhf well a site called bob dylan info has don't twice twice, if you learn that it's easy to change to FK's version. Just put capo on to 3rd fret instead of 4th and hammer on for Am chord before g bass note and back to F chord/ d7 chord with f'# base for part(most distinctive change). also don't use high e string like bd does, that what fk does, it makes for a warmer sound

in general fk adds a lot of base rundowns or up between chords, in his fingerpicking style and his rythm style
