  • How did you get into making fx masks..?

  • @ReadyAimFireee Years ago when Josh and I started in the biz, that was pretty much the first thing we learned. Makeup FX 101

  • this is great! but I was always planning to do this step by mixing up silicone and applying it to the seam. Is there a problem doing it this way?

  • @Ninjaculation Unfortunately there is because silicone doesn't stick to anything and nothing sticks to silicone except silicone.

  • If you don't want to use the cabopatch you can use a soldering iron and burn off the seam.

  • @HHN4U This is true, a soldering iron works well for taking down the high seem, but most times you will still want to use cabopatch to blend the seem together. Thanks for the comment and good look'in out!

  • LOVE LOVE LOVE the smoker!

  • @efxfreak ah I see. thanks!

  • @Toyman1982 also to be clear, gorilla glue works great for me, but it takes ALOT OF TIME cause you gotta use a tooth pick and dab it on little by little.. so i was just wondering if there was something easier like, a spray or something you could brush on, then clean out of the brush after your done.. im not sure if you can even clean super glue out of a brush after you use it.. thanks in advance!

  • I got a question for you guys.. what is the BEST varnish out on the market? ive tried EVERYTHING.. so far the best stuff ive used as a varnish is Gorilla super glue, it dries clear and ROCK FUCKING HARD.. so if you smooth it ontop of the paint job it protects it, but there HAS to be something i dont know about that works better.. .. i make toy prototypes and the paint flakes off when you move them at all, so i need a GOOD clear coat that bonds rock hard (but you can brush it on)
