@HuntersVermin thanks an one more..... is it good to drive with your car and when lights blind him shoot i think it is easier to hunt that way
-
oh very good thanks, i'm just going to start researching it now :)

@paddysniper82 Have a look on the Hawke sport optics site as they have a free ballistics software that you can try different cal, pellets and power to give you your trajectory's.

great i will look into those makes of air rifles. must see about the trajectorys too, id imagine the drop would be substantial.
happy new year to you and i will keep you posted!!

@paddysniper82 Yes an air rifle would be safer for tree top work but i wouldn't go much above 30ft/lb otherwise you will have the same problem as using a .22lr too much over travel. There are high powered pcp rifles from the likes of Theoben, Daystate, Airarms, FX etc.

thanks for that info,
i'd imagine an air gun is far safer that a .22 for shooting birds in trees and so on.
what i have in mind is possibly trading my .223 for one so it would be a high powered pcp rifle as you suggest.
i will have to get my research head on i think :)
What is slurry?

@zamisli123 The head, neck or heart are the only kill zones, hit anywhere else and you have wonded it. Depending on where else you hit it it may bleed out and die after a few minutes.
