This is one Ed's early solos from the Fair Warning tour. This is an early form of what he would re organize into his 82-83 solo. Notice the inclusion of an early Cathedral, which at the time hadnt been recorded on an album. The video is from Largo 1982 and US Festival 83.

When the Eruption happened it sent shockwaves through the Rock/Metal Universe shaking it's foundation and changing it forever. The impact of this eruption made tremors not only shocking the present and future descendents of EVH but the shock even reached the past affecting his ancestors as well such as the great Jeff Beck, who went on tosay that eddie made him rethink his own style. It was a short Eruption but the damage is still felt to this day.

Amazing musician. the things he can do while playing- cranking the volume up and down, while doing a whammy dive, while switching pickups, while switching pedals etc. , unbelievable. Alot of people can play EVH songs but not in itheir entirety with all the things he's doing while playing. Anyone whos read an accurate Eddie tab can attest to that.
