try rolling off to the side like a normal parkour roll. you can find tutorials of it really easily.

careful with your rolls.
the rolls you guys are doing right now are screwing up your spines.
you want to make contact from right shoulder to left hip, so contact is diagonal across your back. goodluck! ;]

your never to young to begin freerunning, i'm probably late to say that but there was a 6 year old who did it really well for his age, you just gotta work hard at it and be safe with it too.
