Attended St. Bartholomew Middle School and Holy Name High School. Studied piano and music theory for two years at the Kulas Music Conservatory at Baldwin Wallace College in Berea, Ohio. He is considered by many to be an accomplished Vocalist, Guitarist, Pianist, Drummer, Performer and Producer. Michael started his professional career at the age of 19 when he began performing solo acoustic shows in nightclubs throughout the Cleveland area as well as the Flats District of Cleveland, College campuses, Art and Music Festivals, Coffee Houses and Restaurants. Michael formed the band called Sandalwood Junction at the age of 21 and has continued to play in bands, trios, duos and solo acts for the next 20 years. ?He released his first original CD called Indian Creek in 1991 and started the non-profit organization New Morning Foundation to raise awareness for environmental and social causes. Michael, for his work on these causes was made an honorary member of The Earth Day Coalition, Amnesty International, The North American Indian Center, and the Public Interest Resource Group. He moved to Colorado at the age of 23 where he continued to perform, write songs and study music theory. Michael released his 2nd CD in 1997. This project was a blend of original music and cover material recorded live at The Renegade Cafe in Taos, N.M. it was appropriately called Caught Live. His third release, called The Alder Growing There was recorded in 2001 at Rainwerks Studio in Colorado Springs.
