  • This album is completely infused in my brain forever. I bought it when I was 16 and played it daily for God knows how long. hearing these songs now at the age of 43 brings back so many memories. Still love it!

  • New Gold Dream is a beautiful subtle album. I first heard it in 1982 when it was released and I was 12. In 2011 I enjoy it more. I'm 42 now. In 20 years if I live to be 62 - I will still enjoying listening to this album. Timeless music to be enjoy by everyone. Bearhug. Tx

  • This is for me the best track of the whole cd/lp, and there none bad tracks on it. Still, this one touches me deeply ;-)

  • j'avais 19 ans a cette epoque et je sortais dans une boite new wave !que de tres bons souvenirs avec simple minds que je ne me lasse pas d'ecouter!leur meilleur album pour moi!

  • was at the gig tonight in (the barras) glasgow. i,m 43 now and the band are fuckin better now than ever. i,d long forgotten them but what a revisit to my youth it was.......glittering prize! what a feckin album.

  • Goes good with being in a German forest and weed.

  • @cuevasjt did you ever go to see them back in the day mate

  • used to chill to this before entering the ring live or die

  • I'm 59 (going on 60) and still can't get over that beautiful crimson and gold swirl album. Wish I still had it, but its what was on it that keeps everybody coming back. One of the 10 albums of all time I'd choose if stranded. Unless I was stuck with a Republican. Then I'd have to go with any band Newt likes.

  • @cuevasjt i'm 45 and still think its the best album ever :-)

  • can we believe it .32 years ago since this brilliant album was released .one thing great music never ages.

  • FANTASTIC CHILL ! OMG has been so long. Then i was 17 years old.--- Still ADORE !!

    - Thanks - From Belgium !
