Avant Garde Youth perform A Beatific Vision at Breakin' Convention 2011 at Sadler's Wells Theatre, London.
A Beatific Vision was born from the music chosen by Shobana Jeyasingh as part of the ReFresh Youth platform at The Place. The music inspired the group to produce a piece based on ritual and the concept of a solo entity that can control, but is also controlled by the masses. Is there a link between ritual and the power to control an individual or a group?
