There are many adult adhd treatments to choose from. The most popular are medications. This video is in response to an adhd adult woman who is looking for help, specifically a doctor.

Before one looks into adult adhd treatments, they should understand the symptoms and root causes. This will help with the process of finding the right treatment.

  • I am 30, i use Modafinil to treat ADHD. Indeed, Modafinil doesn't work as good as amphetamine-like stimulants , but i don't have any side effects: i feel no appetite decrease, no sleeping problems. More that, my chronic headaches i suffered since the childhood are gone away after a few months of Modafinil use. Also, sometimes i make a break of using meds so i don't have any withdrawal effects

  • @coqpit77 Happy to hear that. Side effects cause so many problems and it will be to late when the effects are realized. Modafinil has a lot of side effects, so keep an eye out for them.

  • Nice, I got 1 dislike. guess there is always 1 in the crowd.

  • im 35 and i have add, and im lost! my life has gone to #¤"

  • @bladdan Well my friend, its time to find your life. Better to find it now instead of discovering that you are 60 and have lost the last 25 years.

  • @betterhealthtoday i dont know where to begin.

  • @bladdan There is plenty of information on the adhdawareness website to help you. You need to visit there and educate yourself

  • I am hyperactive as hell, immature and I will interrupt everyone and argue with almost everyone and I talk non stop and I am always bored, I can't do enough to slow down and since I was a kid (with the exception Adderall and Strattera) the only meds that make me more mature and calm and leveled out are stimulant meds... Ritalin has some nasty generic brands but all in all they shut me up and make me less impulsive and wound up... but I am a classic case and I eat healthy, vitamins, exercise etc

  • Vitamins are amazing. I started taking some strong vitamins a week or so ago (pill form) and today started taking liquid natural stuff. I have chronic fatigue and ADD (of course not the hyper one if they are indeed different) and it's so much better now.

  • drugs are bad mkay

  • Medication is good for some cases but shit for most cases. I wish we have more ADHD treatment in our country.

  • I am 34 years old. I tried the gluten free diet 4 days ago, and I am free of childhood-adult ADDNoh, adult migraines (with aura, photo, phono sensitivity), and adult chronic fatigue. Try the diet NOW all you have to lose is your life.

  • i have adult ADHD and i never felt normal all my life till i get medicated

  • @betterhealthtoday thx i will do that

  • @betterhealthtoday now you have 4 likes (instead of 3) and one dislike :)
