"Hey you want one?" Selena had no clue about Joe... I didn't want anyone knowing and that's how it was... a deep secret not even one person but the 2 of us.

"Yea, Nick went to talk to Joe since their parents aren't home again." I nod passing her a drink...

"You sleeping at Nick's tonight I'm guessing."

"Yea but it wasn't about that, Joe's been acting weird lately..."I scoff a bit as we both look over at the 2 brothers.

"Well he sure looks like his acting the same..." I took the cup to my lips drinking the whole thing, I didn't know what was wrong with me... I couldn't explain but all I know is I needed to get him out of my mind... as soon as possible...
"Lets go by Nick," I look over seeing Joe. He smiles and laughs a bit as he talks to Nick. He was completely ignoring the girl who leans back against his chest, somehow I find myself wanting to be her...just leaning against him feeling the warmth as she bobs her head against the music. I look away once I feel his eyes meet mine. I could feel his stare as I look back at my drink. "Cody's by the boys anyway." I look back seeing Cody laugh with them...Not once have I felt him look at me...

"No its fine... I'll go by Cody," she smiles as I walk off, I could tell she was becoming curious, but I didn't look back, or else she'd see the pain in my eyes...

"Hey where's Selena?" I look at him almost hearing the voice of wanting me to go away.

"She's with Nick and Joe." He smiles wrapping an arm around me. Cody hates Joe... because ever since freshmen year Joe was captain of the basketball team...Codys favorite sport.

"O well you wanna go home?" he raise his eyebrows almost making sure his friends could see.

"No," I push him off chugging down the 2nd full cup in my hand... I could hear him call for me but I kept walking away...and you know what the sad part was... when I looked back he didn't take one step away from his friends... nor did he watch me leave... it wasn't that he changed... I just never noticed...

I walk through the crowd making my way to the kitchen, I walk around to the back counter of the bar making myself my own drink. I look up to see Nick and Selena talking...alone... I scan the room looking for him. Suddenly I felt the warmth behind me... I hid my smile as I bring my cup to my lips...

"Who are you looking for?" he gently presses me against the counter. He sneakily places his hand on my waist where no one could see. I shrug slightly leaning back... even when I wanted to forget him, he always found a way for me to remember why I didn't want to. He buries his face into my hair inhaling the scent. He groans a bit as I reach backwards pressing him forward, something about him always made me crave him more just by the slightest touch. "I thought you didn't want me around anymore..."
