Mobile DJ Tip: Designing a fast & organized DJ setup

This is just how I did my setup for audio, and I am posting this to just present some ideas. There are patch bays available for purchase, that you can put all of your own connectors in, and there are a lot of other good ideas out there. Just think of some good ideas to shorten your setup time, and make things neat. I do advise some form of DJ skirt type item as well.

@shuffle953: It's the noisy camera shutter, adjusting for light. I didn't know there was any "clicking" till I watched the video later. Annoying, I know.

where did you get the speaker connection setup? the one I am refering to is the one with the different speaker connections. Did you make it yourself, or is it store bought?

Made that myself. Got a project box from Radio Shack, and ordered the various connectors from Parts Express :) Glad you like it :)

Got the box from Radio Shack, got the connectors from partsexpress website, then just drilled out the holes for connectors, and put it together :)

I love those elf ladders! i wind up all of my mic cables and connect each together, so i unwind what i need and put it back on at the end

This is really nice.. I think i might design a case for my set up now, but i might make it optional if i want the cables to run back or in front.
