Jeff Masterson takes us inside his home to talk about the 3 main components of how to gain weight and build muscle. This video is especially important if you are a skinny guy or hardgainer trying to figure out how to gain weight.

These are the 3 components to gain weight:

- Weight Training
- Weight Gain Diet
- Resting

These three components are all you need to focus on when trying to gain weight. Of course there are more details involved within each topic. But understand that you need all three of these in order to gain weight fast.

You can't just eat big and expect to gain weight without working out. And on the flip side, you can't just expect to throw around weights in the gym 5 days a week and eat whatever you want when you get home. You can't gain weight that way either.

And last but not least, you need to rest to gain weight fast. Your muscles grow while you sleep not while you are working out in the gym. While you are resting your body is repairing your muscle tissue and growing larger so it can sustain the heavy weight training you are doing.

  • @nistyson1 - I'm glad you're mature enough not to take it personally. Like you said it's just a stereotype. Comedians use stereotypes in their stand-up comedy all the time to make a point and it's hilarious. I'm not a comedian but it's the same thing. I also can't take down every YouTube video every time someone gets offended or doesn't agree on something. I wish I could please everyone but unfortunately I can't. I think do I a good job at being "politically correct" in my other videos though.

  • im 21 and about 5'9 or 5'10 and im at 140 i needed to stay at that weight for boxing, but now i think i need to gain muscle because im going to go to the police academy in august and im too skinny in my opinion. I dont want to be a skinny ass cop when i finally become a cop (God willing) i know there are skinny cops but i just want to gain so im not too damn skinny. What would be a good weight for me??

  • @hunterloon Huge lifestyle change, Personal so not going into detail. Was proberly drunk when I wrote that, My hearts healed now, Im pursuing better and greater things ( oh yeah and im still like 65kg)
