@Sahbay Totally informed honey, I'm on grandchildren now . The older they get the more they realise what a dangerous situation they are in which is why older people are harder to teach.

@nags2bitches, I have a feeling the limit of your riding ability involves a dollop of KY jelly. Take your uninformed opinions elsewhere.

that is just beautiful! i noticed how the mare is constantly keeping one ear on the mum and the other one on her little rider - amazing!

wow! what an amazing horse and rider. you must be so proud of them both.

I disagree that all children can ride like this.
-
ALL small children can ride like this, it's only when it goes horribly wrong that they suddenly realise their parents are morons.

i do believe your little girl cant sit the trot as good as i can or better =} and she has quite the horse too it reminds me of my first ponyy! Keep up the good work they are gonna one heck of a pair in about 3 years <3

Sure... Learn how to fall off... I usually teach kids how to fall of fso when in the situation your instincts will help you fall off so you won't hurt yourself. Don't stay on the horse until it is too late, learn when the situation is not good so that you can just fall off landing on your feet or butt. I do these types of exersizes with a vaulting horse, see my website gablestable and go to my horse camp page. from there look at video of vaulting. It doesn't show falling, but you will get idea
this is beautiful!!! and it gets me in the soft spot...see,i had a Morgan mare for 25 yrs and she died a year ago May. and although the comformation is different from your Lady,Ebony was black and with the same markings as her,no lie :'). i got her when i was 10 and we never looked back!! Sianna has a great leg too!! she is confident and having fun.please post more!!!

@LaVelvetVicenza
Thanks. She is just a joy that is all I can say! I will get another video up... She is riding better and better almost every day. We started learning how to turn... That has been really exciting! I have a new video of her riding my other horse. It is cute because he is 16.1 (Lady is only 14.3). Sianna also did her first horse show last weekend. Oh my gosh was she GREAT! The horse gave up before she did, I was so proud!

Don't go faster until you and the horse are relaxed and consistant. Try doing circles that are consistant in size and speed. If the horse goes faster than you want make your circle smaller, don't stop, until the horse slows down and then slowly make your circle larger and larger. If you are doing a left circle stay left and stay consistant. HOPE THIS HELPS!
