MS Learn Online is the National MS Society's online educational webcast series. This video features Mary Hughes, MD, who answers a viewer's question about taking ibuprofen or anti-inflammatory pills for people with MS.
Careful with the ibuprofin, i was taking 800 mgs every four hours every day and read they contribute greatly to fatigue. I stopped taking them so regularly and the fatigue improved. I then added 1000 mgs of alpha lipoic acid and 588mgs of aceytl l carnitine and had more improvement with fatigue. M ind you I tried everything from provigil, nuvigil and even ritalin for fatigue & all made me sicker...
I don't take Marijauana just because it is something I personally don't want to do. I take pain medicine for the headaches and that seems to work. I just wish there was one things I could take for insomnia, fatigue, nerve pain, weak limbs etc lol. But more power to the people who take Marijauna, maybe if it were possible to come in pill form, I might be more open to taking it. I know it works for people though.
marajuana is the way to go forget all these idots talking crap about WHAT THEY DON'T KNOW! have ms for 12 years. tried all these pain pills, trust pot work the others don't.
