Great stuff! I remember seeing Dutch in the 70s at The White Sands hotel in Scarborough WA. To my way of thinking his acoustic playing beats his electric work, hands down. Anybody got a clip of him playing "Writing This Letter", "Don't You Tell On Me", "Workin' Man Blues" or "Good Morning Cigarette"?
I used to play bass in a band that covered these and other Tilders songs [badly ;)]. It would be great to hear the originals again. Sadly, my cassettes of his albums died quite some time ago.
Did he die? Oh no, love this guys music. Happy memories.
