Three boys(Tompall, Jim, & Chuck) from small town in Spaulding Nebraska were not what you'd figure on to be country music stars, but that's what happened. I for one, couldn't get enough of them, and still can't. They were fantastic. Here they are with one of my favorites. It was written by Tompall, and they recorded it for MGM Records in 1972. Great harmony.

  • I don't either. I just wrote what I read on the CD liner notes plus a couple of other places. All I know is that they were great, and I slill enjoy playing their wonderful music.

  • This is the last on this subject. One of the places is the liner notes from their CD "The best of Tompall & the Glaser Bros". It's out by Collectors' Choice Music. Great CD. BYE.

  • You're wrong weeze1124. I suggest you read up on them.

  • Yep.

  • The Glaser brothers had the finest harmony of any group that ever was on the Opry.I heard them in concert in 1971 and no other act has ever come close to what they did. They were the best.

  • I just love the harmony in all the songs. I remember the time they came to Glasgow Scotland & the show was magic. I just feel there is no one can sing harmony like these guys.

  • Always loved them! Had the privilege of playing bass on one of their live performances in club 13, taipei, taiwan, in '62 or '63, They were very personable, and were one of the main reasons i got involved in country music.

  • I've always loved this song... These guys were (and still are) the best.. There hasn't been anyone since that could match their harmonic voices.. Don't know about Tompall or Chuck, but Mr. Jim is still performing... voice has transcended time and age... still just as awesome as ever.... Can't believe that these guys are not in the Country Music Hall of Fame.... They need to be!

  • There is one and a half billon Roman Catholic, in the world Iam happy for them

  • Heard these guys in Wembly England best harmony i ever heard bloody fantastic

  • The Glaser brothers are Roman Catholic, but their religion doesn't matter their awesome music is all that matters.

  • And their religion would matter because?

  • I was a very lucky person to to see the Glaser Brothers when they were in San Francisco,at the Marines Hall on Sutter St.,way back in the 70's or so,and will never forget the great performance.. I had a chance to talk to Tompall, after the show, and still remember his friendly personality..He talk to me,like we were old High school buddies.. There has been nothing like them now,nor will there ever be again...Faithful Fan

  • @ronficek Bullshit. The Glasers are Mormon elders.
