What is reality?

Is it a noble construct that we have fabricated to

rationalize

and

conceptualize our existence?

Is it a joke in which there is no punchline?


Is there something more to this entire construct?

What is reality?

Is it a googolplex worth of mathematical equations that we have not even begun to rectify or resolve?

Have we reduced ourselves to solipsism, escapism, and any other device that we can possibly embrace, to avoid asking ourselves
the question?


I put to you the question.

Have we even begun to concede what our potential is?

Or if there is an expected potential?

Have we met it?

Have we exceeded it?

where is it that we are going in all of this?

There doesn't seem to be a road map, or a blueprint.......

Just time, in which we are limited to.

What is reality?

Is it the cigarette that we just smoked?

The burrito we just ate, or the cola we just drank?

Is it the red dot on the canvas,

or the stop sign at the end of the road?

Is it something we have grown accustomed to?

Where are we going in all this confusion, and is there a destination?

Can we touch it, feel it, or measure it empirically?


Is it... an illogical musing, or an ideology that is circular, and has absolutely no revelation in the end?


Is it an ideology, a philosophy, a theology?

Perhaps it is all the above

or none of the above.

Are we all waiting for the big revelation

is there a man behind the curtain thats going to reveal the cosmic joke?

@Ataratha I think you are 100% correct. We are all escaping something, even in our deepest thoughts. I also figure Youtube is an excellent place to escape lol. Thank you for the thoughtful comment :D

Very interesting. I love thinking, it's a favorite past time of mine... lol... Our world seems to be rampant with escapism, to the point that we've become obsessed with pleasure and happiness. The irony of course is one could argue that this is a form of escapism, if one focuses on the bigger questions, what is reality, why are we here, then one doesn't have to focus on the smaller ones of dealing with one's self on a day to day basis. Either way it's fun to muse over.
