  • "foooottt...out the door" - excellent

what do you use the floor-to-ceiling punching bags for?

  • @upaste i also teach boxing, kickboxing and muay thai and use the banana bags during classes

  • i thought you were supposed to tense your entire body when doing the Siu nim tao.

  • it's not how i was taught and it goes against the concepts and principles behind the development of wing chun.

  • nice analogy

  • thanks. take care and peace!

  • Very good understanding on the WC concept! I think you're one of the few that knows how the mechanic works.

May I know who was your Sifu? He should be proud that you absorbs it well!

  • Hi Jin good instructions. I'll continue learning wing chun with your videos.

  • China boxer : when I do all what you show in vid and I know each step I have done perfectly , all that seems to happen when someone pushes me is my toes start lifting off the floor? Even though I have bent knees sunk down etc pelvic thrust , elbows in etc . What am I doing wrong bit confused. Thankyou I like all your vids

  • Good teaching.

  • Thanks again buddy. Another great video!!

  • @greenshit321 My Sifu also emphasizes the idea that relaxation and softness are behind all forms of ving tsun.

  • @greenshit321 - if you tense up, will control u. You must give up any notion of tension and muscular reliance. You will lose if you play their game. Let them use their muscle, you must use something else to overcome that muscle. That tool is called structure, root. To use root, u must relax muscles or else the tense area will act as a blockade between the opponent and the ground. That tense point is the handlebar with which he will use to push your body around. Let his force pass to thru u.

  • awesome explanation!
