Kyosho Kanai 3, Tank 16 on a rebuild. It's a little fat. I had some technical difficulties just before the video. I did just recently have it in race tune. But before the video I was bumping it on the box and every time I took it off and gave it gas, it was starving for fuel so I backed off quite a bit on the needles only to realize the damn body was pinching the fuel line. By the end of the video it was at 226, that was a dry tank. A smidge leaner on the low end, and 1/8th turn on the high speed and I think I am there. I am actually afraid to because its so hard to drive now! I am currently running Trinity Monster HorsePower 20% Nitro Fuel, FYI. I think this engine really needs 30%. It's very simple to tune. Next video this buggy should be hanging wheelies again... If you have not seen any earlier video of this buggy the engine is a Paris Modified Novarossi TopP5, a Novarossi R7 Rod
and a GO Technologies 2nd generation coated crank, I still have the paris modded crank and rod, the pin is worn. I called Rick at RB told be to send it in to him and he'll take care of the pin and rod bushing, an ofna jammin' JP2 pipe (My Most Favorite Pipe) and ProTek Ceramic Bearings front and rear. The clutch bell has ProTek Ceramics as well. I sent the Paris modified piston/sleeve to rayaracing.com and Ray worked his magic on the paris modded piston and sleeve. The guy is unreal. If you ever have a motor that needs a pinch send the piston/sleeve to Ray Aronica at Rayaracing.com, he is the best in the business.... Tell him you want the "Ever Lasting Pinch"!

  • good acceleration ! good novarossi top 5 !

I want to buy plus 28-7T for my revo ^____^

  • @MrTraxxasfan I am a huge fan of the P5. I like kicking it old school too ha ha... I am a huge fan of Picco Engines too... If you put that 28T in your revo you may want to invest in some wings, and a parachute! ha ha...

  • Damn JD, that thing is a rocket!

  • @HDChevyman1 Thanks man. It's so damn quick I have a hard time keeping up with the thing. I really like that radio thanks Jimmy. That spektrum module and that XP3D radio work well together. Its an extremely comfortable radio, well in my hands anyway....

I can't wait to see your X1 screw....

  • Got this motor but cant keep it at idle my brakes are gone is that why?

  • Great engine...btw talking about engines why not go for

a Novarossi Toro Nero Team engine,it will eat all

the other engines listed up here for breakfast.

I have 2 Toro nero team engines and when it comes

to power and speed only the RBTM928 can compete

with the nero on the low end.

Good luck with choise of engine man:)

  • Now, I am a huge fan of the RB engine ! especially the RT 28 or RT9 !

RB TM523 has high RPM but torque is not enough !

Maybe I will be a fan of Picco Engine, but Picco engine is hard to buy in TAIWAN ! @@
