Cracking "Hacking" WEP Ubuntu 9.04

A short demonstration on how I've "hacked", WIFI before in the past.

In this video I "hacked" a 64bit encrypted wireless network, using aireplay-ng attacks 0 and 1 to generate network traffic and attack 3 to continue to generate traffic.

I will be uploading more videos, demonstrating other techniques in the new future for both WEP and WPA/2

I'm not a hacker or i don't have as much knowledge as a hacker.

But i have one good question: Why do you ppl want to copy and paste his code, you woun't learn anything. Learn linux from the beginning and don't just install a linux OS andjust copy hackers' codes. Learn everything yourselves so that u understand what you're doing. What's the point with hacking without knowing even what you're actually doing during the process? If you have any comments about this, please message me.

Hi, I have a small problem. When the write terminal command ”airodump-ng rausb0“ so I write: ”ioctl (SIOCGIFINDEX) failed: No such device“. I do not know what indeed, please consult. thanks

hey i'm using ipw2200, everything is working well except the last part, i key in the same aircrack-ng yourtarget*ivs, i got choose the index number and finally i got this statement: Failed. Next try with 20000 Ivs.

he keeps changing Channel on my laptop, so i wont be able to type the BSSID anymore,

I use wlan0 instaet of rausb0 becasue rausb0 wont work

any tips?

@MrKubala actually there is an OS called backtrack that is based off ubuntu which is made pretty much just for hacking....

i would say backtrack is the best but it is harder 2 use and not for beginners....
