My third video-essay focusing on the great hero-pulp characters from the 1930's and 40's. This video features Doc Savage, an adventure icon and cult-hero.

To Doc fans: I'm sorry if I've left out some of the details that make Doc Savage a great character. It's hard to squeeze it into these videos, but I do the best that I can.

Also, I'm not sure why the graininess persists in my videos, they look so great at home before I upload them to YouTube. Anybody have any suggestion or tips?

  • Excellent. Great choice of music, and nicely produced! I love it.

  • @edsquidful Thank you very much! With the exception of the text color (it's harder to see red, which is why I switched to using white text), this is one of my favorite videos that I've done. I appreciate the kind words!

  • Very impressive! I plan on checking out your entire series of pulp video essays.

  • @mh430 Thank you very much! I haven't been making videos too much lately (I've been busy getting my own hero-pulp novel written and published) but I plan on doing more when I can. The next one in the series is The Avenger!

  • What overature is it your using? Just curious.

  • @imkerrusin The music is "Olympic Fanfare" by John Williams.
