The sides and top are 3/4 inch plywood. In order to bend the ramp portion, you have to use two layers of 3/8 inch plywood. I used a sponge to get the plywood wet prior to screwing it on and the wood grain is running horizontal. First layer had a wide piece toward the top and a narrow one near the bottom. Second layer had the wide piece near the bottom and a narrow piece toward the top. That way the seams are not in the same place. Search for quarter pipe design for examples.

@MarcusAllensaSkater Yes, it is thick PVC and works fine. Drilled four holes that were just large enough to get the screw heads through to anchor it to the wood. In our "Homemade Quarter Pipe Upgrade" video, we made it removeable to increase the height.
