The tower that sits in the center of the University of Florida. It partly served as a memorial for students and alumni who died in World War II. It is about 150 feet (45m) tall and is the focal point of the campus.
The carillon chimes every 15 minutes during the day. The University offer a carillon course to students. Students are required to climb to the top of the tower to play the bells for a grade.
