In May of 2008, our daughter Hayley underwent two brain surgeries to remove the area of her brain that was causing her to have uncontrolled seizures. To this date, she has been seizure-free with absolutely no neurological or physical deficits. She can even kick her dad's butt on Rock Band, playing guitar on Expert level! This video has photos taken while she was a patient at Children's Hospital of Michigan in Detroit.

Congratulations on your daughter being seizure free!! My niece's epilepsy is pretty much everywhere in her brain and no specific area therefore it cannot be removed.
