EGO is anger, envy, lust, cupidity, lies, arrogance, greediness, vanity, illusion, victimization, materialism, isolation and so on...so on...so on....

EGO is within you. You have to destroy it ( them ), to find your freedom in your spirit. That's GNOSIS way.
Don't feed your EGO.

The steroid argument is irrelevant bc it has negative results, (which also applies to your chicken theory) while defeating the ego is strictly positive. According to your logic, any kind of evolution is not legitimate if it doesn't come naturally. Mental healing is completely different. Not saying there is a God but if there is no God, how do you claim I will have blood on my hands for these beneficial claims? Seems like you are implying there will be some sort of judgement from a higher power

@guysakar Why is that? I highly doubt God will judge someone on how they began their spiritual path. If these substances help people grow mentally and spiritually, I don't see how you can claim there will be blood someones hands for trying to help others. Give 1 example and why its a bad idea. BC if it betters your connection to God, do you really think God would be upset? Most wouldn't recommend psychedelics simply bc they havent even used them, so they wouldnt know. not because they are evil

Ego is the instict of self-preservation, the will to survive and to maintain physical and psychical integrity. Even altruistic behaiviour strategycally feeds the ego by satisfying our desire for somebodies appretiation & gratefullness and our natural appetence for meaningful action, by creating the delusion of being respectable & honest or even by the practical usefulness of somebodies reward. It's an uneraseable and inherent part of the self-awareness, which shouldn't be negated.

@lupon18 Funny, most sages, religions, gurus, etc... who have found enlightenment/truth/broke through, etc... say NOT to enter the spiritual realm via drugs. All I gotta say is People ARE SOO FUCKED IN THE HEAD now a dAy's for instance all the kid's I go to school with most of the herd is brainwashed manipulated into society and havnt found themselves or broken through there egotistic barriers yet and havnt realised much about everything and nothing and what it is to be nothing and everything at the same time, were all in it togethor but why forget your spiritual self in the DAZE of confusion. just not worth it.
