  • I haven't heard this arangement before. I sang it last year, but it was the Thiman arrangement. Is he just another composer/arranger who has no significance to the creation of this piece?

  • No the arrangement is by Earlene Rentz

  • Are you sure this is a Quilter arrangment? I'm singing the solo arrangement by Quilter, and this is nothing close to it.

  • Oh man, Eric Whitacre is amazing in general.

  • The piece was written by English composer Roger Quilter, with lyrics based on a poem by Edmund Waller (1606-87). I'm working on this song for my Applied Classical Voice class, and hopefully this video will help me get it right.

  • Edmund Waller wrote this...and even though they sound good...the guys at all east sang a much better arrangement

  • I've never heard this arrangement before, you guys sound really good! I like the satb accapella version better (but I think that is because I have performed that one).

  • Srry Earlene Rentz is her name

  • the opening was much more harmonically accurate than the ending was. the Tell Hers are high , but they would be doable with some work.
