great thing the locking mechanism, does it all acts on a chain reaction? or lock works apart? actuators aren´t on the CG ...OpS! re upload this with rotor working! xD

The speed can be set via the transmitter.
the rotating speed will be tested and adjusted for best performance.

What is the skin on the shroud? Can't quite tell, looks like tape maybe?
Is it mainly wood construction?
Have you made any progress on this, I'm planning on building something similar and have really been fascinated by your control mechanism.

The shroud is made from a balsa any plywood frame.
the internal of the shroud is balsa with 50gr/m fiberglass/epoxy.
the external part of the shroud is one of the plastic iron on shrinking covers.
havent had any progress yet, need to get back to it.

Have you thought about an over center lock instead? That's a bit harder to design though. This is a nice simple mechanism.
