I hope the final version isn't quite as...rhythmic? Systematic? Maybe if the phasers fired in bursts of three ("pew pew pew") and then a longer pause before another barrage would work better from a pacing and dramatic standpoint. Just an idea...

@PromusKaa ASSUMING that I ever get back to this project, I'm almost certainly going to redo this scene, because I am slowly coming around to agreeing with this assessment (you're one of a chorus of folks who've made similar comments).
Needs more pew pew pew. :)
