Moston robbery CCTV footage

A masked man wielding a knife robbed a convenience store in Moston.

It happed at Moston Superstore on Moston Lane at about 3pm on 24 June 2011.

The thief ran into the store and repeatedly waved the 12-inch knife at the shopkeeper who was behind the till, demanding he hand over the takings. After stealing cash from the till, the robber then fled out of the shop on Moston Lane, and ran off onto Shackliffe Road and then Broadhurst Park.

He is described as white, about 6ft 2in tall, of a slim build and wearing a dark two-tone tracksuit with the top hood pulled up, dark jeans and shoes and a dark piece of material covering his mouth and nose.
