Terrorsaur and Scorponok got destroyed to make room for new toys. Originally Waspinator was supposed to go, but he was popular enough to stay and Terrorsaur went. I assume Quickstrike was characterized to be comic relief like Waspinator.

I love that part where Tigerhawk says "Things have changed" and optimus just says "hmm", and then cheetor starts snickering, lol.

Well the writers prob thought that it would be good to have a combo of two creatures for both sides. The Maximals got Silverbolt and the Preds got Quickstrike
