  • Is there a way to do this in the VGA version as well?

  • Nope, it was patched in the VGA so no luck there. sorry.

  • I don't understand...

  • It was made to show people on a forum so it isn't 100% self explanitory. In order to allocate skillpoints in the game you press -> to get 5p (the least amount to put into a new skill). However you can use + and - to add/subtract 1 skill point. What I do where is first to allocate 5p (the minimum) into a new skill and then press + to get a total of 6. Then I press <- to subtract 5p and ends up with 1p in the new skill and I can get more new skills than what should be possible in the game!

    Easy :)

  • That's nothing. In the VGA version, you're not only able to get new skills, but you can put as many points as you want into each skill!

  • Yes, by basically the same method, putting 6 skill points in one skill. Subtract 5 to make it 1 and then keep subtracting 5 and you'll have unlimited points.

More glitchy and enables you to complete the game in a few minutes.

  • @Iainofthemeteor Precisely! Although... if I recall... I think you can get even more, but yeah--that sounds pretty close.

It comes from (basically) being able to do some actions "as a fighter" (for example)... but then turn right around and do similar actions to achieve similar results "as a mage" or thief, etc. lol

  • @greytale I saw a Let's Play of a Fighter with 517/500 (through thieving, magic etc.)

  • One of the easier ways to utilize most all the skills is just to choose a Thief at the beginning, and give him the Magic ability.

This means that you can complete all the Thief quests... yet cast spells all over the place as well. It also allows you to achieve more than the "maximum" points... which I think is like 500. You could get >500, I don't recall how much. :)

  • Thats pretty cool...... I remember it was possible for a thief but didnt realize it was possible for a fighter

  • Check my profile, I made a VGA one that's easier to understand.

  • Then I got lucky, cause I was just taking away, and adding random numbers!! :D
