stop bickering about Arnel/Steve comparisons... Arnel has his own sound by his own right. He has the rasp and tenor. Steve made his name with his own signature nasal tones.

Nice Neal and Jonathan still keep the sound of Journey alive but I have to say the there is a point of clarity in the vocals. Not bad but it is there. I have seen all of the stuff between the band and Steve. It sad that they were together for so long and clicked with all of the music we loved just can't get past old wounds and hurt feelings.
I guess I always have the concerts I went to and my albums. Somebody drop the needle on the Infinity album so I can drift off to sleep.

Journey was awarded the "highest award" in the competition of the festival - the group received the LA GAVIOTA DE PLATA (The Gull of Silver) maximum award. Journey beat out the competition by a popular order of the public (in attendance and tv viewership); Earth, Wind & Fire was one of the opponents in the group category. Arnel Pineda, himself, won two awards, the prestigious Gold and a silver during the competition amongst vocalists on the second day of the Festival of the Vine of the Sea.
