  • loved the dedication to Mandela, "We are not free until all our brothers and sisters are free. "

  • merci jassblue pour cet instant de rêve :D

  • Yeah right, Shorter is playing with Santana since 1980 because he can't play.

    That makes sense.

    Retards.

  • Santana just doesn't know how to comp behind a jazz soloist using harmonic jazz progressions. I think Pat Metheny would have been appropriate here. Then Pat could have busted out with his Roland GR-300 guitar synth on the guitar solo!

  • Carlos is really not musically educated enough to play real jazz! Everything he does is by ear. But also the mechanical layout of the guitar would make it difficult for almost any player, with the exception of Alan Holdsworth, to hang with a sax player. The guitar's layout sort restricts the player to play certain shapes and patterns. I think the trumpet has a similar problem. That's why sax players are king in jazz!

  • The jazz soloists were blowing Carlos out of the water. It reminds me of when Vanessa Williams sang with Pavarotti.

  • The keyboard player is Patrice Rushen

  • Fusion at it's best, a mess !

    Listen to the keyboardplayer.

  • Thanks for posting.
