I saw The Black Crowes for the first time in November 2009 @ The Pageant in St. Louis. I was amazed by Luther and Adam, watching these videos I wish I would have got into them sooner to at least see The Crowes w/ Marc and Ed

The band isn't on fire. There is no fire. They play a good solid show, but their best material has lost the "fire" it once had. Luther and Adam do a solid job, but comparing them to Marc and Ed is ludicrous considering Marc and Ed's tenures in the band.
