Connie has such a happy outgoing personality which makes us happy too. But I feel that deep in her spirit, she like many of us is very concerned about the state of the world. I know this because at only 6 years old, when she saw a video on the starving children in Africa, she said that if she won Britains Got Talent that she would donate the winnings to those poor children. I know it because of all the songs that could have been on her debut album, she chose the touching song by John Lennon called Imagine that imagines how much better the world would be if we didnt let things like religion and countries divide us and create discontent and hate. On the outside Connie is very much a joyful and happy young lady. But deep down inside, she has a loving and sensitive soul that subconsciously feels these concerns, even though they are not always expressed outwardly. This song tries to capture some of the same thoughts as John Lennons Imagine but in a very different style, and focused around Connie.

  • Very very touching Douglas. Your song expresses real problems that do exist. I don't know if one little girl can solve all those problems, but she sure helps doesn't she :) Racial hatred could not prevent the election of an African American president. How wonderful that the haters are becoming fewer and fewer!

  • Thank you hopplesslyinluv. Yes, Connie by herself cannot cure all the world's problems, but she is like a spark that ignites the spirit of love in many of the people who hear her. And that spark, as it spreads through more and more people can make our world a more peaceful place to live.

  • Thank you Chris. Your sentiments are exactly what I hope this song will accomplish, to have the people the world over be touched by this song to bring about peace.

  • This is another nice video that you did Douglas. It is sad to know that we can always cry when a soldier or more die to defend our world. You have wrote a good song. I do enjoy the singing of you. It hurts us all when we hear such things.

  • Great and 5.stars from me.

  • why do people like this girl?

  • Doug, this is one of the most expressive songs I've ever listened to. A profound reflection to all thinking people in the world. A honor to the empathic heart of our beloved little Connie, being award that all is not well in the world and filled with energy to scatter joy and happiness with her beautiful voice. The lyrics are wonderful. I hope all politicians, leaders and presidents in the world get thoughtfully touched by this song. God bless Connie and planet Earth...

    Chris (CTOF) ;)
