Fighting Spammers: These matches are usually boring and extremly irritating although sometimes amusing. The best way to fight a spammer is to take a step back and watch. Not to be confused with button mashers, spammers do certain moves all the time because they know most people will fall into the trap. Even I fall victim to it. I could not tell if this person was fighting seriously or if they was venting some fustration. This video is hardly entertaining but its good to know what to watch out for. Most people will see this as 10 minutes stolen from their life.

The class system I go by:

Beginners - Usually has under 100 fights always a losing record. Everyone starts here.

Button Mashers: Born from begginers the 2nd most hated kind of players

Casuals - Decent fighters, dont play much but usualy has a win ratio from 40-60%

Players - People who play the game just for fun but just happen to be really good (from what people tell me I fall into this category) win ratio is usually in the 60-70% area. They just want a good fight and nothing else. Losing doesnt matter.

Player / Veteran: A mix of obviously of the two. People in this category have generally played all the socal games. Still dont play it as much as veterans but have played the best of the best and seen everything.
Veterans - Usually have high ranks but win ratio is not that high. They've been around and know what to expect. Use cuation.

Spammers: The most hated players. People who use 2-3 moves over and over again or people who pick small stages and always try to hit you off which explains their high win ratio. Warning: if you beat them at their own game they usually quit out of the match.

Contenders: Only winning matters to them and nothing else. Most of Them are cocky and they are good. Beating them usually means them coming after you just so they can show you how really good they are. win ratio is usually in the mid 80s to mid 90's.

Stalkers: Contenders who like to make new accounts and prey on the weak and ones not in the know. Ignore anyone who has a 30 win and 0 losses record or 0 wins and 1 lose.

Elites: Never play these people unless you want to know how much you really suck. thier win ratio is usually in the mid 90s and have played well over 1000 matches. They eat sleep and breathe the game. Thier life is the game.

Legendary Fighters: One class I had forgotten about. These are the people who are good at every fighting game in existence and they dont play much. they hardly ever lose but hardly ever play. They exist, trust me. Most people will never fight people like this in their lifetime. Elite players are a joke to them. If you fight these people you will lose. End of disussion.

If I missed any or you think I should change something let me know.

  • They're really makin SC5?!?!

  • @kmoney2346 Yes. It has been confirmed. Bifordus-Maximus will also be a new character. That statement however I can not confirm and is most likely false. SC5 really is coming out though.

  • spammers shouldnt always be treated so cruelly n humiliated with videos such as this, everyones new once, and do what they have to do to win without even thinking of offending people the best thing to do is just avoid them or simply dont play with them anymore.

  • Lying down and pouting is probably the greatest method of beating spammers I have ever seen.

  • Thanks to the horrible netcode, Cervantes dummies like this one actually managed to get some wins.

  • @KaiReed2000 Why would you give someone a chance to fight back? Do you wait for people to start shooting you if you play an fps? If you can get a perfect, you go for perfect :p

  • you know whats funny @BifordusMaximus i think i remember your name...i might have fought you a while back...and since i didnt get sciv in 2008 it was probably 2010 or 11 idk...

  • Oh! And I have no name for them but those players who wait for you to select your character so that they can make sure that they choose someone who's good against your style. I friggin hate that. It's so obvious too 'cause they sit on the character screen without moving until you do and then if you wait for them, they just leave :/

  • You missed "Glory Hoggers" the ones that, neither spam nor button mash, but simply just do NOT let you hit them, at all. Even if they're going to win, they won't even let you try and fight back. Once I realize that's what they are, I place the controler on the floor and watch because I figure why bother playing someone so obsessed with winning? Same rule for spammers, mashers and elites. If they won't give you a chance, then don't fight them at all. I do this in hopes some of them will REALIZE..

  • i just wanna know... When your a spammer, and do the same moves ALL the time... how is that fun????? i would be SO bored... if that was ever me playing like that... it's pretty shameful

  • "Most people will see this as 10 minutes stolen from their life."

Nah, it's cool. Do you have 360? I'd like to vs. you in SC5 as Pyrrha. :D

  • I can't stand spammers.

  • @BifordusMaximus I like how you analyze their fighting style before you pick them apart
