This controlled space you got going on here is the most stupid area to light a fire for film. you're all around trees and bushes in this area, one gust of wind and it's gonna take a lot more than a Firefighter's version of a golf cart to put it out. That thing is useless. Get some brush trucks and man up. Plus, that traditional way is pretty stupid as well.

anyone who has faught fires in the forest knows you cant use those things...in 99 percent of conditions,if it were something you could drive to they would just use engines.
-
@Keepingitreal0 Ya, but you only get the white stuff to "cum" out on the safer way
-
i could piss on that and put it out...

safe, more efficient way. And when you have a fire deep in the woods and your personell is not trained on the "traditional way' you are screwed!!!
-
Are they jacking off to put the fire out the traditional way?

you can think what you want but that is frikkin awsome! also, it has a practical aplication for private landowners burning piles or doing controled burns that want a little backup if somthing goes wrong...

I think fireman 1 sounds like one of those fireman that has everything and can't get his nose out of the air. It is up to each department sop's and sog's as to what their department wears.

to fireman 1,, if you think jeans and such is all you need to fight wildland fires, come to Texas and we will put you on a truck and see how long your jeans last.

@Keziah2007 Actually foam is quite cheap and it extends the fire fighting power of the water by 10 times. So if you use 100 gallons of water mixed with foam, you get the same amount of fire knockdown as you would with a 1000 gallon pure water discharge.
there is absolutely no reason to ware full structure fire turn out gear to fight brush fires! want a more safer efficient way of fighting these fries? buy wild land gear. can't affors it? all u need is jeans, leather non steel toe boots, a long sleve cotton shirt, gloves, and a hard hat.
