He sounded quite a bit like Hank Williams... back in the 50's a record producer told George Jones "we already have a Hank Williams, we need a George Jones"... Then George started to fine tune his very own style. I wonder if that record producer knew the magnitude of what those words did for Country Music? With those words George transformed himself to one of the finest singers to ever grace this earth!

No, this is closer to a ragtime feel. Either way, it does boogie a bit (but country boogie was a huge influence upon rockabilly, and predates rock & roll by several yrs).
