Limelight Love Chapter 8

*kayla and kaylee go on through the day watching movies, then kaylee goes home, kayla takes a shower, blow dries her hair then goes downstairs in her
pajamas, then she goes to sleep*
*next day, kayla gets up and gets dressed in black skinny jeans and a black rolling stones shirt, then she straightens her hair and puts on her black converse*
Kayla:*goes into her moms room and whispers*mom i'm going to the studio ricky's gonna be there its 4 AM so i'm not making you get up...this time*kayla smiles to herself*
KM:*sleepily*alright sweetie, i love you
Kayla:love you too mom.
*kayla leaves the house then remembers wow.she doesnt have a ride*
Kayla:*takes out her phone*cause im that smart
*kayla calls kevin and the phones ringing*
Kevin:hello?
Kayla:hey there buddy.
Kevin:oh hey kayla, whats up?
Kayla:well, i dont have a ride to the studio, cause i'm smart and didnt get one last night...can you pick me up?
Kevin:no problem, we just have to run some errands with mom, shes been dying to actually talk to you anyways

Nick in the background:who is it? why are they asking for me?

Kevin:in like 5 secconds i was close

*kayla opends the mini-van's door*
Nick:oh, thats who was on the phone
Kayla:yes, yes it was.
*nick smiles at kayla, and kayla cant help but smile back*
*kayla sits next to Mrs.J*
Kayla:hello Mrs.Jonas, how are you?
MJ:i'm wonderful, how about you?
Kayla:fantastic.
MJ:thats good.
*the rest of the ride is filled with singing*
Kevin:alright mom, we're at the store
MJ:all you boys go in, and we'll stay in the car.
Kevin:alright mom.
*the boys get out, and Mrs.J faces kayla*
MJ:you like my son?
Kayla:uhm...yeah...a lot
MJ:*smiles*i refuse to be that interrogating mother, i'm just going to ask you to take care of him, hes fragile.
Kayla:*smiles*i will Ms.Jonas, i promise.
MJ:thank you.
*after a minute the boys come in with groceries*
Kevin:alright, off to the studio.
*they get to the studio, and kayla looks at her watch*
Kayla:crap, igottarunintherereallyfasti'llseeyouguysinaseccondbye!
*she runs insode the studio*
MJ:you picked a good one nick
Nick:*smiles*i know, love you mommy*gives her a kiss
Joe:love you mom*kisses her*
Kevin:bye mom, love you *kisses her*
*mrs.j gets into the front seat, then drives off*
*when the boys walk in, kayla's not in there but ricky is*
Boys:hey ricky
Ricky:hello boys.
Joe:wheres kayla
Ricky:oh, shes calling her mom really quick
Kevin:oh, alright
*kayla comes running in and sits down*
Ricky:breathe.
Kayla:i'm good...
*so after a while they're all sitting down, demi walks in*
Demi:i am SO sorry that i am late.
Joe:its cool, sit. kayla demi demi kayla
Demi:*shakes her and*hey kayla, i love your music, im a huge fan
Kayla:*she smiles really big and just looks down at the table*
Ricky:alright, so first things first, whats the stage look like?
Mr.J:well, kayla will get 1/3 of the stage, which isnt a lot, but shes just opening
Ricky:alright, how many people does the average venue on this tour fit?
Mr.J:about 2,000 people
Kayla:oh man, thats a lot of people.
RIcky:kayla's actually only performed in front of tv show audiences, shes never performed on a real stage.
Mr.J:*nods*alright, so she'll get about a half hour of show time.
Ricky:sounds good
*so they keep talking blah blah blah, then demi, JB, and kayla all decided to go out to lunch*
*tehy go to red robins kayla's favoerite, everyone's eating, except for kayla*
Kevin:you alright kayla?
Kayla:huh? oh, yeah im fine, i'm gonna go call my mom.
*kayla leaves*
Demi:is she okay?
Nick:i don't know*gets up*but i'm about to find out.
*kayla's outide, she hangs up the phone and just sits on the bench outside of the resturaunt*
*nick sits next to her*
Nick:you alright kayla?
Kayla:*takes a breath*fine, just, worried.
Nick:about what.
*kayla doesnt say anything*
Nick:kayla, you can trust me, i promise.
Kayla:i think my moms sick, shes not acting right, somethings wrong
Nick:she'll be fine, get her into the doctors, she'll be fine.
Kayla:*looks at nick and smiles*you're too amazing.
Nick:i try, i try.
Kayla:*stands up then whispers in nick's ear*im free tonight
Nick:*whispers back*me too, i'll pick you up at 7
Kayla:*whispers*we can drive arround and see a movie
*they smile at eachother, kayla looks at her phone*
Kayla:OMJ ITS 7:05! *sings*TIL SHE WALKED OUT THE DOOR AND RIGHT OUT OF MY LIFE! make a wish! *kayla closes her eyes, then opends then to nick looking at her like shes crazy* what?
Nick:what?
Kayla:7:05?
Nick:*click*ohhh i get it, wow, i havent thought about that in forever. you know that?
Kayla:how COULDNT YOU?!
Nick:*chuckles*guess i just never have
Kayla*shakes her head*lets just go inside
*nick holds out the chair for kayla and kayla blushes*
Kayla:thank you.
Nick:*smiles*no problem
