Raiden One Life Run (Jaguar) - Part 1/5

A run of Raiden for the Atari Jaguar. This was meant to be a video run for a challenge from a forum known as AtariAge. Simply submit your highscore using two credits. Well I didn't want to upload 60 minutes so instead I uploaded as far as beating the game with one life and from where I finally died, to finally the end where it shows the final score of 4 million.

Second best port of the game I've seen, though the PS1 does it one better. Thought the Jag could do a stronger port than this, however.

I play smups for the sake of having fun NOT POINTS.

And points have no meening when the game is on a home console that almost nobody had with no way of saving your score.

Yes, because as we all know a good port relies on silly little bonuses being in the exact same spot as the arcade version.

I have the Pc engine (Turbo grafx) Super cd version called "Super Raiden". That was has 2 extra levels after the final level, complete with new enemies, bosses and musics. What can i say, Like you, I love raiden. Although the real real final boss in Super Raiden is very hard.

I love these top view shooters, where your guns get powered up with new gadgets every 30 seconds lol... Ah the Jaguar, the most advanced "64 bit" 16 bit system!
